the botanical collection 

...started out as a 100 day project in 2025 that was not well defined so I decided to abandon it after a while.
The project left me with a solid stash of botanical shapes taken from shadows of plants in our garden; all painted with left over paint on materials found in the recycling bin.
To add to my stash I also created line work on recycled book pages as well as mono prints on recycled paper.
In an attempt to be sustainable, the collages in this collection have been created mostly on recycled canvas or board.
I am really quite  fond of this growing body of mixed media pieces.
